We participated in the 16th Concrete Prefabrication Symposium, organized by the Turkish Prefabricated Construction Association and hosted by Dokuz Eylül University in Izmir on January 28–29. The symposium served as an important platform for discussing new technologies and innovative design applications in the production of earthquake-resistant, multi-story precast reinforced concrete structures.
At the event, topics such as the seismic performance of precast multi-story structures, mechanical and architectural connection technologies, and post-tensioning applications were addressed by expert academics and industry professionals.
On behalf of Precast Concrete, our General Manager Mehmet Yavuz and Technical Coordinator Erdi Özkal shared insights throughout the symposium, gaining the opportunity to closely follow developments in the industry.
Another topic that drew significant interest from symposium participants was the Ekol Logistics warehouse project—a 40-meter-tall, 10-story structure featuring post-tensioning and mechanical connections—produced by our company. This project stood out in the industry as a significant example where precast concrete technologies meet high structural performance and production efficiency.
We held a productive symposium to bring industry stakeholders together, evaluate innovative solutions, and discuss field applications.
Guided by our vision of quality, durability, and sustainability in prefabrication technologies, we continue to develop new projects.
